About Me


Bryant Belin is the owner and director of VP Music Studios and teaches voice, kindermusik, audition preparation, performance etiquette, music fundamentals & music history.  Belin has over 10 years teaching and performing experience. He is also a licensed Kindermusik Educator through Kindermusik International.
He graduated from Coker College with a B.A in Vocal Performance. There he participated in many Opera scenes, various programs and engagements, and was the Coker College Department of Theatre, Dance and Music's outstanding student (2007 - 2008) also Who's Who Among America's Colleges and Universities - 2007. He has participated in the Graduate Certificate Program at University of South Carolina - Columbia, where he made his operatic debut in Mozart's The Magic Flute and later in Offenbach's - The Tales of Hoffman. He has also held the role as Hermit II in the Repertory Company of Spartanburg's production of The True Story of Cinderella. Bryant has taught voice, music theory, and music fundamentals in general not only in the Western North Carolina area but also in various places throughout South Carolina for over a decade.
In the summer of 2007 Belin was invited to study and perform in the beautiful country of Spain via the International Course of Spanish Music through the University of South Carolina. There he studied with world renowned musicians:  pianist - Julio Alexis Munoz; Opera Singer Mabel Perelstein - Mezzo-Soprano & Spanish Guitarrist - Avelina vidal Seara. Belin has also been invited to participate in the Rome Festival of summer 2013. 
In addition to currently pursuing his Entertainment Business Master of Science degree from Full Sail University, he has also participated in studies from Converse College & Boston University's Graduate Music programs. He also operates as a Bass-Baritone Concert Soloist, Sunday Soloist and choral section leader in the Western North Carolina area for various churches and organizations. He has performed Handel's Messiah and Schubert's Mass in G with the 1st United Methodist Church Chancel Choir in Brevard, NC and other organizations throughout the carolinas. He also held the position of Bass/Baritone soloist for the Blue Ridge Sacred Chorale's inaugural performance of Faure's Requiem also in Brevard, NC. 
Belin has also performed as a chorister in the October 2010 Asheville Lyric Opera production of "The Magic Flute." He has performed as Pish Tush in OperaCreations production of Mikado and is available as a solo performing artist.
